AI resume summary generator
The professional summary is the three lines a recruiter reads first — and the hardest to write about yourself. Paste your experience and skills, and the AI drafts up to three summaries you can copy, edit and use. It writes only from your facts: our no-invention checker rejects any suggestion that adds an employer or a number you did not provide.
What makes a summary work
A strong summary answers three questions in order: who you are (role + years), what you are best at (two or three skills the job ad actually names), and what changed because of you (one honest, measurable proof point). Skip the adjectives everyone claims — “hardworking team player” says nothing — and keep it to two to four lines. Our summary examples guide breaks down real examples by job type.
When you are ready, the builder puts the summary into a template with the rest of your CV, runs the free Resume Check over the whole document, and exports a clean PDF or DOCX when you are happy with it.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from other AI summary generators?
One rule: the AI may only use facts you pasted. Every candidate summary is checked by a no-invention filter before you see it — if it adds an employer, a number or a tool that is not in your text, it is withheld and we tell you. Most generators happily invent achievements; invented achievements get candidates rejected when employers check.
What should I paste for a good summary?
Your roles and employers with dates, your strongest bullets (with real numbers where you have them), and your top skills. Two or three short paragraphs are plenty. Leave contact details out — the tool removes email addresses and phone numbers automatically before anything is sent to the AI.
How many free summaries can I generate?
Guests get a few tightly capped tries per day on a connection (shared with our daily AI allowance). A free account raises the daily AI allowance, and the in-builder summary tool works side-by-side with your actual CV.
Who writes the summary — and who sees my text?
Summaries are written by our AI provider (Groq) under terms that prohibit training on API inputs. Only the text you paste — contact details already stripped — is sent. Your text is not stored after the request completes.
